Public Eye The achievements of Continental Paving are often high profile and have received praise from both within the industry and from the general public. Some noteworthy "high profile" projects include: Manchester Airport Improvements in Londonderry/Manchester, NH - Since 1992, Continental Paving, Inc. has been an active participant in the expansion and improvements ongoing at Manchester Airport. From the early preparation and construction for the New Terminal, to various taxiway and airfield facility construction, to expansion of the air cargo facilities, Continental Paving, Inc. has been rising to the challenge of the needs and demands of the aggressive expansion at the Airport. Continental Paving, Inc. is proud to be a part of the expansion that has fueled the economic boom for the region. The most current project involves the extending of runway 6-24 and the relocation of South Willow Street. NH Route 111 Bypass, Windham-Salem NH- This job invovles the extending of Route 111 bypass in Windham from I-93 to Flatrock Brook and all of the related improvements in the area. These improvements includes such things as rebuilding and relocating roads and installation of drainage. Route 102 Hudson- The purpose of this job is to widen and recontruct a portion of NH Route 102 (Derry Rd) to provide a center turn lane thoughout the strech of road being improved. Additionally, major drainage reconstruction is taking place to move water runoff effectively from Route 102 to the Merrimack River. NH DOT Bow- Hopkington I-89 Improvements- This is rehabilitation on I-89 from the the intersection with route 3A in Bow and continues to Exit 5 in Hopkington. Over this stretch of road the brides will be rehabed and resurfacing in the form of crack sealing, micro-surface treatment, and pavement inlay will take place throughout the highway. NH DOT Salem-Manchester Park & Ride- Located at Exit 2 of Interstate 93 in Salem with and has an expected completion date of October 2008. This job was recently detailed in the July 23rd issue of New England Construction Magazine for an effective traffic control plan during rock blasting operations that took place in close proximity to the roadway. When work is completed the site will feature parking for over 470 vehicles and a full service bus terminal. City of Concord 2007 Reclamation Project- This project involves the reclamation and repaving of various city streets for 2007 Beyond our own achievements, Continental Paving, Inc. actively supports local causes from school athletic programs, local police and fire departments, and by participating in the Chambers of Commerce.
