How can I add things like components or accept comment boxes to my site?
You would simply log-in to a page, click on edit, then click on the CONTENT OBJECTS tab. From there you can choose things on the left hand drop down and add them to display areas of your site (IE: left column, main column, right column, header area, etc).
Note: There are several widgets listed under "system." (IE: Accept comments, sub navigation, peer navigation, content rater).
